Practical Nurse

Preparation for Licensing Exam - day and evening programs

Program Overview

The Practical Nursing Program is a 40-week course that includes 1097 hours of classroom and clinical instruction. The clinical experience is designed to assist students in the application of classroom theory within various healthcare facilities in the community. Although the curriculum remains the same, there are two different schedules offered.

Day Division

  1. Monday - Friday from 08:00 a.m. - 02:35 p.m.
  2. 40 students admitted every August.
  3. June 30th projected completion date.

Evening/Weekend Division

  1. Monday - Thursday from 04:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
    Alternating Weekends 08:00 a.m. - 02: 30 p.m.
  2. 40 students admitted every August.
  3. June 30th projected completion date.

Tuition:

In-District $6,500.00 - Lowell, Dracut, Dunstable and Tyngsboro residents
Out-of-District residents $8,200.00

Financial Aid:

Pell Grants and Direct Loans are available to qualified students
